These Terms of Service (the "Terms") govern your use of the website heicgram.com and the online image conversion service available on it (the "Service"). The Service is operated by Watbot, LLC ("we", "us" or "our").
By accessing or using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of them, please do not use the Service.
1.1. The Service lets you convert images between supported formats (for example, HEIC to JPG). The conversion is performed by code that runs in your web browser on your own device. Your files are not transmitted to, stored by, or accessible to us.
1.2. The Service is provided free of charge and does not require registration, an account, or any information about you.
1.3. We may add, change, or remove features of the Service, including the list of supported formats, at any time.
2.1. You may use the Service only if you can form a binding contract under the laws of your country. If you use the Service on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to accept these Terms on its behalf.
2.2. These Terms take effect when you first use the Service and remain in effect for as long as you use it.
3.1. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the Service for personal or business purposes in accordance with these Terms.
3.2. We claim no rights in your files or in the results of their conversion. You may use the converted files as you see fit.
4.1. You retain all rights to the files you process with the Service.
4.2. Because conversion happens on your device, your files never leave it unless you choose to send them elsewhere. We do not store, view, or back up your files and have no technical means to recover them. You are responsible for keeping copies of your originals and of the converted results.
4.3. Converting to a lossy format (such as JPG or WEBP) may reduce image quality, and conversion may drop metadata, transparency, animation, or other properties of the source file. Please check the result before relying on it.
4.4. You are responsible for having the necessary rights to the files you process and for complying with applicable law. You must not use the Service to process content that is unlawful or that infringes the rights of others. We do not moderate your files and are not responsible for their content.

6.1. The Service, including its software, design, texts, graphics, logo, and trademarks, belongs to us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. Except for the licence in Section 3, no rights are granted to you.

6.3. File format and product names mentioned on the site are trademarks of their respective owners. We are not affiliated with them.
The site may contain links to third-party websites or services. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content, availability, or data practices. Your use of third-party services is governed by their own terms.
8.1. We aim to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may suspend, modify, or discontinue the Service or any part of it at any time, including for maintenance.
8.2. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you breach these Terms.
8.3. You may stop using the Service at any time.
9.1. The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
9.2. We do not warrant that the Service will meet your requirements, that conversions will be accurate, that the resulting files will be compatible with any software, or that the Service will be free of errors, interruptions, or harmful components.
10.1. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we and our affiliates, officers, employees, and contractors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, revenue, or goodwill, arising out of or relating to your use of or inability to use the Service, including any loss of or damage to your files, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
10.2. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, our total liability for all claims relating to the Service will not exceed 50 US dollars or the equivalent in your local currency.
10.3. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or the mandatory rights of consumers under the laws of their country of residence.
Our processing of personal data and use of cookies are described in the Privacy Policy and the Cookie Policy, which form part of these Terms. The files you convert are not processed by us.
12.1. We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be published on this page with a new "last updated" date and takes effect on publication unless stated otherwise.
12.2. Your continued use of the Service after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree with the changes, you must stop using the Service.
13.1. These Terms are governed by the laws of the Russian Federation, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
13.2. If you are a consumer residing in another country, you also benefit from the mandatory consumer-protection provisions of the law of your country of residence. Nothing in this Section deprives you of that protection.
13.3. We will try to resolve any dispute amicably. Before starting legal proceedings, please contact us at support@heicgram.com; we will respond within 30 days.
13.4. Any dispute that is not resolved amicably will be submitted to the competent court at our registered location, unless mandatory law provides for a different forum. Consumers may bring proceedings in the courts of their place of residence where the law so provides.
14.1. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and the Cookie Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service.
14.2. If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force.
14.3. Our failure to enforce any right under these Terms does not constitute a waiver of that right.
14.4. You may not assign your rights under these Terms. We may assign our rights and obligations to a successor.
14.5. These Terms are published in English and Russian. For users located in the Russian Federation the Russian version prevails; for all other users the English version prevails in case of any discrepancy. Versions in other languages are provided for convenience only.
